Final week at Rimaskóli for the 2024-2025 school year

Schedule for the final week at Rimaskóli

Tuesday - Outdoor day 8:30am/8:50am-12:30pm (grades 8-10 start school at 8:50am).
. Grades 1-6: Students will visit the nearby forest and watch the play "The Animals in Hálsaskógur" performed by 6th grade students.
. Grades 7-10: Participate in sports day.
Note: Poor weather is forecast, so students should dress warmly.

Wednesday - Outdoor day 8:30am/8:50am-12:30pm (grades 8-10 start school at 8:50am).
. Grades 1-6: Participate in sports day with various activity stations on the school grounds.
. Grades 7-9: Go on field trips with teachers.
. At 5pm: 10th grade graduation takes place in the school's ceremonial hall. 10th graders only need to attend school for this event.
Due to weather conditions, we have moved up the graduation ceremony and postponed the graduation trip.

Thursday - Spring festival
. School from 9am to 12pm.
. A spring festival will be held on school grounds featuring a rollover simulator, bouncy castles, playground equipment and other fun activities.
. Parents are warmly invited to join us.
. At At 11:30am students will receive hot dogs and juice before heading home.

Friday - School closing ceremony
School closing ceremonies will take place in the school hall at the following times:
. At 9am - Grades 1 and 2
. At 09:30am - Grades 3 and 4
. At 10am - Grades 5 and 6
. At 10:30am - Grades 8 and 9
. At 11:30am - Grade 7
After the school closing ceremony, students will return to their classrooms with their teachers and then officially begin summer vacation!
