Pétur Franklín is a 7th grade student at Rimaskóli

Pétur received the sportsmanship award in 2025 for his achievements. The award recognizes a club member under 18 who has shown remarkable improvement, demonstrated exemplary conduct on and off the course, maintained a positive and enthusiastic attitude, and above all, served as a role model for others.

Pétur placed second at the Icelandic Championship in stroke play, second at the Icelandic Championship in match play, second at the Reykjavík Golf Club championship, and first at both the junior tournament series finale at Korpa and the golf club's putting series.
