Sixth-grade trip to Stykkishólmur
The sixth grade took a fantastic trip to Stykkishólmur yesterday, stopping at Grábrók and Erpstaðir along the way. They stayed at the primary school, mingled with a wonderful group of kids, and capped off the journey with an unforgettable sail across Breiðafjörður.
Homeroom teachers Anna Guðný, Helga, and Íris worked tirelessly to organize fundraising efforts and book the activities. Parents also stepped up to secure the best deal on a bus. The students created a school newspaper, secured sponsors, and sold copies to raise money. This was a truly remarkable effort—and an experience they will cherish for years to come.
