The school
Rimaskóli was officially founded at a meeting of the Reykjavík Education Council on April 19, 1993. Rimaskóli's construction finished in four phases around the last turn of the century, and upon final completion in November 2001, the school was finally finished and formally consecrated. Rimaskóli's motto is "Order - Ambition - Creativity," calling for students to follow the few but clear rules set by the school, maintain positive ambition regarding academic achievement and participation in projects and competitions, and allow students' creativity and artistic talents to flourish through powerful and diverse teaching in relevant fields.
Tígrisbær After-School Program is for children in 1st to 4th grade at Rimaskóli, and Sigyn Youth Center offers a variety of fun activities for children and adolescents.
